Another crockpot recipe….

Dinner. Homemade soup and grilled cheese
I added a can of Campbell’s Cheddar Soup with the cream cheese, used redskin potatoes and halved the recipe. Me and Hubby loved it!! it will be a Fall favorite in my opinion.
I must admit that we are all excited about the new baby coming; and I have to imagine from an adolescent point of view there are a million and one thoughts that must go on when you think of a whole new person coming into your family structure.
My daughter, who is now a whopping 9 years old, is totally stoked about becoming a big sister (preferably to a little sister). I must admit that I see development in her since finding out the news that has me convinced she is working on putting the Big in BIG SISTER.

Albeit she has always been a nurturing type of person – the kind that is always worried about the feelings of others, lately she has really turned it up. I never would have imagined that she would look to take care of me like she has; she may be able to become that nurse her momma couldn’t seem to become, lol.

It’s hard to believe that three years ago we lost, who most would call our greatest POP icon ( and if you don’t you are just young or nuts!).
I know personally, I never really imagined a day without Michael Jackson. I just thought he would be around forever singing and dancing, like only he could. He was beyond immensely talented and although he had his own issues and demons, we are at a great loss with his death.
Today’s Monday Memory is a tribute to him.
We all remember it and I am sure if you are like me you played it over and over AND over again, until your mom took back control of the television. Its hard to believe that I was only 2 years old when that was released. While I know I don’t remember it being released, I do however remember watching it, trying to emulate the dance moves, and just jamming in my own little adolescent way to it.
18 Discipline your children while they are young enough to learn. If you don’t, you are helping them destroy themselves.
