So we are right in our 22nd week (5.5 month mark) of pregnancy and I am feeling a little conflicted. The first thing being that people keep telling me they thought I was but wasn’t sure, when I know dog on well I have been pretty round for at least a month now; like really? Did you think I just swallowed a melon?
Or better yet, just trying to pull this…..
Then there are those that have misconstrued what a comment is and go to tell me with a smile on their face, “oh honey you are starting to waddle”. Really? REALLY? You couldn’t come up with anything better than that, like – “your walk is changing” or something???
Might as well just said this….
Anyhoo, I digress, because that actually isn’t the reason why I came to post, but it was fresh on my mind; RANT OVER.
So my real thing here is this….This little turkey of mine feels like he is nestled so darn low that he is just gonna reach out and wave to the people. Say something like, “Whaddup, I’ll be out there in a few, check me out”. This is me imagining him talking like his dad does at times, when he is super cool, lol.
No, but really. I mean I thought I was going nuts and that this baby was helping me along the way until hubby goggled it and apparently there are plenty other women whose children as sitting so low it feel like they are tickling ovaries when they move.
I thought they didn’t get low till they were getting ready; soon to come?
At any rate, I am just rambling. This little boy is so low that when I stand up I have to like brace myself. I can feel him nestled darn near right in my lap.
Mommy to baby turkey: I am expanding in more places than the bottom of my belly…feel free to move around while you still have the option, preferably in the upward direction. Before long, your poor little foot will be touching your nose and you will wish you had taken advantage of that space my body created in there for you!
Is there anyone that can relate currently? Or even in past pregnancies?
Any tricks to get him to move up?
Be blessed,

I can relate to the stupid comments. I just had to laugh them off, or do some deep breathing. If it was a random man I’d be snarky so he’d feel bad about himself.

November is right around the corner!

Good advice! I was just telling my hubby about a randomly stupid comment a guy at work made and I wanted to karate chop him…thanks for the support, I am melting down. Lol!
