Pomegranate Mio and baby boy….

Now I’ve never tried Pomegranate Mio before, or any Mio for that matter (are there others?)  However, I absolutely love this commercial.

I believe it came out right before RJ was born.  Hubby and I would wait for that part right at the end where the black cowboy with the pimp tooth pick would say “It changes everything”, and we would literally laugh to tears.

It wasn’t even a whole week home with the new baby, before my hubby, who gives everybody, everything and anybody (and yes I meant all three, just like that) a nickname, before he called the little guy “Mio”; and I knew just why he did it.  We just both laughed.

You see RJ came in and truly rocked our world.  He changed our sleep; our showers; our free time (what’s that); our routine (or lack thereof); our sex life (hubby is gonna kill me for that one J); but he literally changed EVERYTHING!!

Why I wont be “geling” anymore…

So as I have mentioned time and time again…I have really been struggling with finding time to balance it all.  I want to be that working, cute and stylish, yet awesome mom; but right now I am not fully achieving all of them.

So a few weeks ago I had this bright idea to try something new on my nails…I can do my own hair (for the most part) but I have never been good at maintaining my own nails – EVER; and because my hubby loves my hands (and feet), that is one expense he has never asked me to cancel in our whole time of being together…not even when I didn’t work for almost a year.

With that said, I feel it only right to keep them up since he loves them so much!  It totally has nothing to do with the leg massage or the massage chair or the hour free of kids and requests of me; none of that matters, the point is I do it for him! Love & Kisses

Monday Memories: Double Dutch and Hopscotch

I remember as a young girl, not that long ago, being on the playground and having so much fun.  “Back in the day” we were able to be entertained without the need for electronics, specialized lessons, and all of this other stuff these 21st century youngins act like they can’t live without.

If it was semi-warm outside, not raining and our parents said we could, we were outside; running, playing, riding bikes, just having a good time and exercising without even knowing it; hence the reason childhood obesity was rare in those days. (But that’s another topic for another day)

Today’s memories fall back on two things I could be outside doing for hours and have to be summoned in the house to bring them to an end….

Double Dutch

My Favorite Things: My LG

I haven’t done a favorite things post in quite some time.  Probably because I haven’t really had time to think about the things I really like or that make my life easier, better, simpler or adds some kind of value.

But lately I have been wearing so many hats and doing 100 multiple things at once.  It made me realize, I don’t know what I would do with out my Bluetooth.  Its not just any old Bluetooth, its actually one of the cool ones; as opposed to one that fits in my ear and makes me look like I work for the CIA.

The model I have actually serves a dual purpose – like me!  I  can take my calls on it but it also serves as a wireless headset for my music on my phone and iPad or iPod.  And it actually connects to two of them at the same time.
