6WS: Part of the Team

I Love being on the team!

My hubby really is awesome to do life with.  The compliment that he is, is unmatched.  I have to say how lucky of a girl I am, because I never feel alone.  He helps, inspires, motivates, lifts up, ecetera, ecetera, ecetera.  He is just the bomb.com.

He came up with an awesome schedule for us to split the demand of baby RJ so that we may each get some sleep and also be able to have time to do the things that we would love to do independent of RJ (you know like be a normal person).  It’s going great and baby RJ is even starting to accept that his life WILL have a schedule (which he has been rejecting the first four months of his life!)

Teamwork makes the Dream work…..

I left him. I didn’t cry. He was excited!

Contrary to what you may have thought, this post really isn’t about me or “my other man”, as my husband calls him.  It’s actually about my main man and a wonderful Saturday.

Oh Saturday; what a great day you were….

Not just because the sun shinned, or my parents came by; but I took a HUGE step and I’m so proud of myself, and hubby made me feel like a queen (yet again).

The day started with me escaping to get a mani and pedi, returning home to a sleeping baby and breakfast (that I didn’t have to make).  That’s just the first reason that my hubby is AWESOME!

My parents arrived because hubs arranged for us to get some solo time in.  Mind you, this was the first time I left for longer than a couple (literally two) hours and the baby being left with anyone but my hubby.

SWS: Change is good

So I’m linking  up with Cate for SWS – Six Word Saturday.  Here’s my Saturday in six words:.

Change is good, so here goes!

The last time that I blogged was October 27th of last year.  Oddly enough it to was for a SWS link up; almost exactly a month before my little bundle made his debut.  I am now starting to regain some sense of normalcy in my life and have gotten back in front of the computer; inspired and ready to clean house a little bit.  I have been making changes to the blog, starting with the largest being the blog title.  MyInnerB is very reflective of me and what I write, hence the name change.  There will be more changes to come, albeit gradually, but they are definitely coming, and I am excited!

The Stars and Stripes of our First Year – Happy Anniversary!

A year ago today, I walked down the aisle, met my best friend at the end and walked back up as his Mrs.  One of the greatest days ever!!!

We may be newly-weds but we are by no means newly-acquainted.  As I have mentioned before, we have lots of history – knowing each other for the greater majority of our lives; and even sharing some kind of weird connection for all that time.

Everyone told us that marriage changes things and even though we knew each other and had dated for a decent amount of time, it just changes – and IT DID

UPDATE: Change is a coming!!!

Update:  Okay so I have been hard at work, playing around with some things and making modifications.  So far I have changed the platform of the theme, which has made it easier to read (i think), by making the blog text area larger.  In turn, this has made the sidebar (where the links and ads are) smaller and given me the option to utilize the footer – which is where you can find all my social media info at, now.

So have at it, tell me what you think.  I really appreciate any and all feedback.

Thanks all,

So I have been reviewing the blog, and playing with the blog, and reviewing again….and I decided – IT”S TIME FOR SOME CHANGES!
